Covid-19 Rehabilitation (PASC)

Holsman Physical Therapy offers Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy to those who suffered from Covid-19 with long lasting effects, which is also called Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-COV-2 (PASC).

The most common lasting symptoms of Covid-19 include but are not limited to:

  • Fatigue or weakness.
  • Joint pain.
  • Body aches.
  • Dizziness when you stand.
  • Body aches.
  • Shortness of breath.
  • Trouble concentrating.
  • Headache.
  • Muscle pain.
  • Poor endurance or no ability to exercise.
  • Sleep problems.
  • Gastrointestinal symptoms.
  • Anxiety or depression.
  • Fast or pounding heartbeat.

  • Worsened symptoms after physical or mental activities

Our therapists can help COVID-19 long-haulers by treating the effects of PASC. They may recommend activities that people with long COVID can do at home, including low-intensity stretches to improve range of motion, and strength and balance training. Movement is essential to your recovery.

The goal of Physical Therapy is to improve your strength, stamina, balance, and quality of life through prescribed movement.

The goal of Occupational Therapy is to improve your ability to perform your activities of daily living safely and independently.

The goal of Speech Therapy is to improve your communication, cognitive ability, speech and concentration in order to perform your activities of daily living safely and independently.
